Blood Donation Camp at MAAC Salt Lake

A Blood Donation Camp was organised by MAAC Salt Lake, the Leader in Animation, VFX and Multimedia on April 14, 2018. This took place in collaboration with Bhoruka Research Centre for Haematology & Blood Transfusion, Kolkata.

The team says that not too much effort went into this and publicity was small scale. The information had been spread mainly by word of mouth.

The whole environment was unlike the usual camps of this sort. The atmosphere was very lively and everybody was highly motivated to be actively associated. The activity had the full support of the management team and Seniors in all domains.

The turnout of blood donors was high but 35 qualified to donate. The beds were not vacant for even a minute. The crowd was naturally regulated and no chaos, the camp went off smoothly. The donors were very happy with the arrangement and which encouraged MAAC Salt Lake to make this a regular affair and hold such a camp every year, with increased number of participation each time. The venue for this was MAAC Salt Lake which is located at BJ-105, Sector-2, Salt Lake.

For 4 hours, everybody was on their toes to get things done. The doctors were extremely charged up and wanted to do everything themselves. The health officer was very impressed with the organisation of the camp.
This event successfully adhered to the aim to help the children who were suffering from Thalassemia.

MAAC Salt Lake is glad to have had such a positive response and experience, we see this as another step towards the series of such regular and diverse social activities that keeps on rolling.
